Hi. My name is Ashley Collins. I have always loved animals, and I was fortunate to find some amazing people who took me under their wing and showed me that I could make a living doing something that I love. In 2005, I began my career in the pet industry as a kennel technician at a pet resort. I began a grooming apprenticeship in 2006 and completed my training in 2007. In 2009, I completed advanced grooming training in Loveland, Colorado. Once in the industry, it didn’t take long for me to realize my dream of owning my own pet care business. In the summer of 2019, I decided to make that dream a reality. In September of 2019, Storybrooke Pet Grooming was founded.

My name is Vanessa Berry and I’m from Allegan Michigan. I began training with Ashley and grooming for Storybrooke in October of 2022. Before grooming I worked at a doggy daycare, my local animal shelter, and I participated in bully breed showing. When I was 15, I started walking and bathing dogs of all shapes and sizes at the doggy daycare. While I was at the animal shelter I worked along side the behaviorist , learning the different cues and behaviors of our animal companions while I was taking care of their needs on a day to day basis. These experiences have expanded into what I am capable of today, and have aided me in my journey of understanding animals. My love for animals and for learning is ever growing, and I’m excited to continue to learn and grow as a groomer

Hi, I’m Abby! Originally from Ohio, I moved to Michigan for a fresh start and to pursue my passion for working with animals. I’ve always known I wanted a career in the animal industry, and in 2021, I found my calling as a dog groomer. Grooming has been a part of my life ever since, and I absolutely love what I do. Beyond grooming, I’m actively involved in dog sports and Conformation competitions with my own dogs. My journey with dog training began in 2017 when I took on a dog project in 4H, and what started as a small hobby has grown into a lifelong passion. Spending time with dogs every day, both at work and in my personal life, is a dream come true. Thanks to my experience in the dog show world, I’ve developed a strong understanding of canine body language, which I apply to every pet I groom. I’m also certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, ensuring that I can provide the safest and most caring experience for your furry friends.

Hello, I'm Jess, a virtual assistant and online business manager specializing in the grooming industry. With over 20 years of experience in the pet field, my passion extends beyond animals to helping people streamline their businesses. Formerly just a Mobile Groomer, I transitioned to virtual work in 2024 and founded "Groomer Support Services." Leveraging my skills in organization, systems, and technology, I'm dedicated to assisting clients and optimizing their operations. Beyond my work with clients, I enjoy kayaking, spending time with my four dogs and husband, camping, indulging in podcasts, and traveling the world in search of delicious vegan food.
